Trump’s Close Call! Gunman Targets Him at His Golf Course in Florida—Here’s What We Know
A Twitter-Thread-Story
Trump’s Close Call: “It was a tense afternoon at Trump’s International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida…“
Trump was between the fifth & sixth holes, just 300 – 500 meters from the alleged shooter, playing a round with ultra-rich donor Steve Witkoff. Moments after the agent raised the alarm, Trump was quickly escorted to safety by the Secret Service. Fortunately, no one was harmed.

According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, a Secret Service agent stationed ahead of Trump’s group noticed the rifle. The agent immediately opened fire. It’s still unclear whether the suspect fired any shots before fleeing the scene in his vehicle.
Harris supporters were quick to capitalize on the back-to-back alleged assassination attempts against Trump, creating a viral meme using the famous 9/11 image of Bush being informed of the attacks.
Was this Trump’s close call?
